I’ve been asked to write a small piece about Urban Yukon for What’s Up Yukon, Yukon (the sentence just felt like it needed three territories). I’d like to include the opinion of some fellow bloggers on what Urban Yukon has meant to them and their writing. Has it pushed you to write more often? Has it introduced you to interesting people and new friends? Have you completely ignored it since signing up that one regrettable drunken evening?

Some of us were added all stealthy and ninja-like! I think I found out I was on Urban Yukon when I Googled myself once. I can’t remember if Michael signed me up, or if Geof just added me after he found my blog — it was right at the beginning of Urban Yukon. I’ve submitted other new blogs that I’ve found, too.
Yes, I think some of the established bloggers were “volunteered” for membership when Geof launched Urban Yukon. No complaints yet.
I do appreciate hearing about new blogs from you and other UY members. I think we average about two new blogs a month.
